Group of thirteen friends from Newcastle, Australia travelling around the United States of America during the winter.
The majority of us departed from Sydney together on a flight into LAX then spent a night in Los Angeles. We picked up our rental cars from Alamo where Dean managed to get us upgraded cars after tipping the carlot employee. Early in the evening we decided we would walk around and check out Santa Monica and get an early night before we began our roadtrip. These plans were soon abandoned once we met up with Joe who had been travelling around the world solo for eight months. The next morning the start of our hungover roadtrip inland was delayed by Matt who didn’t turn up in the parking lot till 11am.
After the drive through California we arrived late at night in the infamous Las Vegas. We then spent two nights there. It was interesting, and I think I’m going to leave it at that.
